We should subscribe to the ideology that our teams, community, or any collective group can overcome [...]

Thanks to those that attended our recent fall clinic hosted by the Washington Interscholastic Basketball Coaches Association. This years clinic provided a variety of excellent speakers from the high school, community college, NAIA and D1 collegiate levels. Coach, As one season ends, and another is about to begin… Continue thinking about your players and how to build a culture where every athlete on the team contributes and grows. They have many people in their life but none whose relationship with them is continually focused on making them a better player and person. Win or lose, the opportunities that you provide these young people will stay with them forever while helping to shape them for the rest of their lives. Our desire is that this newsletter will stimulate your thinking and help prepare you and your teams on and [...]

Year in Review

2019-11-13T18:36:33-08:00

WIBCA is thriving and continuing to serve over forty years later. Today, in addition to advocating for and representing high school basketball and its coaches, WIBCA provides countless services and opportunities for coaches and players. Some of them include six All-State games, a Spring Showcase Event, a Hall of Fame [...]
