If nothing else, these past few months have been very challenging for all of us.  We have all had to adjust to something different, life in a pandemic, where  uncertainty is the norm.   As coaches, we should use our time to help others. If you would like to be considered for a possible position on the WIBCA Executive Board (vote to determine) if we expand our board, and if so, by how many position, please fill out this application form to assist us with our vetting process. WIBCA Hall of Fame Event Cancelled Due to the current situation surrounding the COVID-19 and uncertainty of future state policies; while also wanting to ensure a safe and positive environment for a WIBCA-related event, we are cancelling the 2020 WIBCA Hall of Fame inductions scheduled for July 23rd at the Nile golf and Country Club in Mountlake Terrace. Thanks to those that attended our recent fall clinic hosted by the Washington Interscholastic Basketball Coaches Association. This years clinic provided a variety of excellent speakers from the high school, community college, NAIA and D1 collegiate levels. Headline speakers were Coach Kyle Smith of Washington State University mens team and Shantay Legans from the Eastern Washington mens program. WIBCA, with the support of Shoot-A-Way, was again able to give away a brand new Shooting "Gun" to one lucky attendee.
