The 2019 Washington North West Shootout team demonstrated great hustle, desire and unselfish play in beating Oregon 120-102, in the 25th annual game.

The team recorded 25 assists and dominated the glass 53-39 in breaking a five game losing streak.

Led by game MVP Jaden McDaniel’s 25 pts and 10 rebounds, all players played well and contributed in a big way.

The balanced scoring of Cole Bajema 19, Anton Watson 18, Mica Pollard 12, Brock Ravet 12, and Shaw Anderson with 15, was too much for the Oregon squad to handle.

Hunter Campau led the team with 5 assists, while Shaw Anderson had 3 steals and Anton Watson had 3 blocks.

Anton Watson’s ferocious slam dunk, brought the crowd to its feet and sent a very clear message of the mission that the Washington team was on.

“It was a very easy team to coach. All players bought in, played the game the right way,

and put team success first. All of these young men were first class and have bright futures ahead of them” commented Coach Bill Bakamus.
