Zach LaVine’s outstanding record and excellence in sportsmanship have made him stand out as the best player to ever play at Bothell High School. He has been the captain of the team since he started attending Bothell three years ago, during which period he has been a true leader on and off the court. Zach has lead the Cougars in many statistical categories for the past three years, and was the first player to ever lead the King-Co conference in scoring for three straight seasons. Zach was also named to All-League for three years and was the Most Valuable Player choice this past season. Zach has accomplished a lot in his time at Bothell High School, including leading the Cougars to back-to-back state tournament appearances. He also represented Bothell High School and the State of Washington in many elite camps and clinics around the country during the summers of 2011 and 2012 and was recently awarded a scholarship with UCLA, where he has signed on for next year. Zach’s legacy is assured, and he will be remembered as one of Washington State’s top players.
